Production Lab Services

We provide full digital lab services for domestic & international productions filming in Malaysia. Our lab duplicates original camera negatives to hard drives & LTO tapes with MD5 checksum verification. Raw footage is colour graded & transcoded for editorial. Audio tracks are synced in Avid or Premiere. Camera metadata is collated into a FileMaker Pro database together with daily reports. All footage is QC’d & sent to client/s. Dailies workflow up to 4K HDR with 4K monitoring. We process up to 8TB of volume daily. We also generate & upload PIX or DAX low-res media.

Rushes are uploaded for off-site editorial. Dailies are distributed on-set to HODs. Footage turnaround is usually 12-24 hours after wrap.

We've worked on various global feature films & TV series, including bonded projects. Lab services are often near shoot locations, or at Astro Sound+Vision.
